This webpage is being developed to provide official information related to the Pakistan–China B2B Agriculture Investment Conference, scheduled to be held on 19 January 2026 in Islamabad.

About the Conference:

This high-level conference builds on the momentum generated by the successful organization of Pakistan–China B2B Investment Conference in Beijing in September 2025. The September Conference was highly productive in terms of participation by over 600 Chinese and over 300 Pakistani companies in 9 sectors including agriculture. Apart from the total investment value of $9.5. billion in nine sectors from 25 JVs and 142 MoUs, the B2B Conference also saw signing of 39 MoUs and 4 Joint Venture agreements in the agriculture sector, representing a cumulative investment volume exceeding USD 2 billion.

The primary purpose of this agriculture conference in Islamabad is to provide mutually beneficial match-making investment and joint venture opportunities to Pakistani and Chinese  enterprises. Through online orientation sessions and pre-conference matchmaking meetings, enterprises will be afforded opportunities to discuss, engage, consult and explore investment partnerships, technology transfer agreements and human resource development in sub-sectors of agriculture as follows:

i)​Agricultural chemicals and inputs; ii) Agricultural technology and agri-tech solutions; iii) Food processing and value addition; iv) The meat and poultry industry; v) The dairy inputs and processed dairy products; vi) Fruits and vegetable cultivation, packaging, processing and export; vii) Animal feed and related value chains; viii) Fisheries and aquaculture (including processing); ix) Cold-chain systems & agricultural logistics; x) Food-grade packaging materials and equipment.

The conference primarily targets Chinese and Pakistani enterprises engaged in agriculture and food-related sectors, while also welcoming participation from research institutions, universities, industry associations, and relevant government and public-sector organizations.

To facilitate participation from China, the Government of Pakistan will provide two nights’ hotel accommodation in Islamabad, meals, local transportation, interpretation services, and on-site coordination support. Participants will arrange their international travel by themselves.

Online orientation sessions for participating Chinese enterprises will be organized from Monday, 5January 2026, followed by pre-conference online B2B matchmaking webinars from 09 January to16 January 2026.
