Applications for MRP are accepted at the Consular Section of the Pakistan Embassy from (Monday – Friday) 0900 - 1130 hours, except on public holidays.
Application forms will be accepted only if required documents of the applicant are complete. Incomplete applications will be returned without processing, until all necessary documentation is completed.
There are five steps in the MRP application process:
Ø First, on arrival and after presentation of complete application at the counter, the applicant will be given a photograph bearing token.
Ø Second, fingerprints (i.e. biometric) will be captured.
Ø Third, applicant’s data will be uploaded.
Ø Fourth, applicant’s record from the database will be checked.
Ø Finally, application will be transferred electronically for issuance of MRP.
