Thank you for joining us in this special  evening. On behalf of Pakistan Embassy, I extend a very warm welcome to you all to Pakistan’s 86th National Day.This day stands as a powerful testament to the extraordinary vision and unwavering resolve of our founding fathers to establish a homeland for our great nation. Eighty-five years ago, on this historic day, the landmark Pakistan resolution was adopted at the iconic Minar-e-Pakistan in the city of Lahore. It was here that our nation made a solemn pledge to embark on an unyielding struggle for independence. This momentous occasion marked the beginning of a relentless journey, embodying the collective aspirations and sacrifices of millions who dreamt of an independent state where they could thrive with dignity and pride. Today, we honor their legacy and reaffirm our commitment to upholding the principles of unity, faith, and discipline that continue to guide the Pakistani nation.

感谢大家在这个特别的夜晚参加我们的活动。我谨代表巴基斯坦大使馆，对各位出席巴基斯坦86周年国庆活动表示热烈欢迎！这一天有力地证明了我们的开国元勋们为我们伟大的国家建立家园的非凡远见和坚定不移的决心。85年前，在这个历史性的日子里，在拉合尔市标志性的巴基斯坦塔通过了具有里程碑意义的巴基斯坦决议。正是在这里，我们的国家庄严宣誓为争取独立而进行不屈不挠的斗争。这一重大时刻标志着一段不懈努力的旅程的开始，体现了数百万人的集体愿望和牺牲，他们梦想建立一个独立的国家，在那里他们可以有尊严和自豪地发展。今天，我们向他们的遗产表示敬意，并重申我们致力于维护团结、信仰和纪律的原则，这些原则将继续指导巴基斯坦民族。

Today, we also pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founding father of our nation, and the countless men and women who selflessly dedicated their lives to the cause of Pakistan. As we reflect on the legacy of these great men and women, we renew our resolve to building a stronger, more prosperous and more vibrant Pakistan. 

今天，我们也向我们国家的国父伟大领袖穆罕默德·阿里·真纳致敬，向无数为巴基斯坦事业无私奉献生命的男男女女致敬。在我们回顾这些伟人留下的遗产时，我们再次下定决心，建设一个更强大、更繁荣、更有活力的巴基斯坦。

Pakistan is a country of resilience and promise. Despite heavy odds and complex challenges, we as a nation have always stood tall, demonstrating an indomitable spirit.

We have encountered wars, terrorism, natural disasters, economic hurdles, and the effects of global crises and yet we have emerged stronger each time.

This resilience defines us. It is the strength of our people, our armed forces, and our institutions that drives Pakistan forward.

巴基斯坦是一个充满韧性和希望的国家。尽管困难重重，挑战复杂，但我们始终昂首挺胸，展现了不屈不挠的精神。

我们经历了战争、恐怖主义、自然灾害、经济难题和全球危机的影响，但我们每次都变得更加强大。

这种韧性定义了我们。正是我们的人民、我们的武装部队和我们的机构的力量推动着巴基斯坦前进。

With a population of over 240 million, we are the fifth-largest nation in the world and one of the most youthful. Our young generation is our greatest asset, ready to lead Pakistan into a new era of innovation, entrepreneurship, prosperity, and our rightful place in the comity of nations.

我们有2.4亿多人口，是世界第五大国家，也是最年轻的国家之一。我们的年轻一代是我们最大的财富，他们准备带领巴基斯坦进入一个创新、创业、繁荣的新时代，并在国际社会中占有应有的地位。

Ladies and Gentlemen,

女士们、先生们，

Our National Day celebration is not complete without saluting our deep-rooted friendship with China.

Among our Chinese friends, Pakistan is known as Ba Tie—Iron Brother.

This relationship is special, unique and has been nurtured by our leaders and people alike. This iron-clad friendship is founded on the principles of strategic mutual trust, mutual respect, mutual support, and win-win cooperation. Even as our friendship transcends geopolitical interests and constitutes a positive factor for regional peace, stability and development, it is also built on bonds of shared history. 

在我们庆祝国庆时，我们必须向我们与中国根深蒂固的友谊致敬。

在中国朋友中，巴基斯坦被称为“巴铁兄弟”。

这种关系是特殊的、独一无二的，是两国领导人和两国人民共同培育的。两国坚如磐石的友谊建立在战略互信、相互尊重、相互支持、合作共赢的原则之上。我们的友谊不仅超越地缘政治利益，是促进地区和平、稳定与发展的积极因素，还是建立在共同的历史纽带之上的。

From the ancient Silk Road to the modern Belt and Road Initiative, Pakistan and China remain linked through trade, culture, diplomacy and Asian wisdom.

Pakistan was among the first countries to recognize the People’s Republic of China, facilitated its global outreach, and supported its rightful place at the United Nations.

Similarly, China has always stood by Pakistan, proving time and again that our friendship is truly higher than mountains, deeper than oceans, and sweeter than honey.

从古老的丝绸之路到现代的“一带一路”倡议，巴中两国通过贸易、文化、外交和亚洲智慧紧密相连。

巴基斯坦是最早承认中华人民共和国的国家之一，为中华人民共和国的全球扩张提供了便利，并支持其在联合国的合法地位。

同样，中国始终支持巴基斯坦，一次又一次证明，中巴友谊比山高、比海深、比蜜甜。

女士们、先生们，

Today, this partnership is writing new chapters of Pakistan’s future economic trajectory. The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has upgraded and indeed transformed our transport infrastructure, energy landscape, laying a strong foundation for economic growth. Over 50 completed projects, RMB 175 billion in investments, and  creation of over 200,000 jobs are some indicators of this great success.

Gwadar port is set to grow as a regional trade hub, while Special Economic Zones are opening doors for Chinese and global enterprises.

今天，这一伙伴关系正在书写巴基斯坦未来经济轨迹的新篇章。中巴经济走廊升级改造了巴基斯坦的交通基础设施和能源格局，为经济增长奠定了坚实基础。50多个项目竣工，投资1750亿元，创造了20多万个就业岗位。

瓜达尔港将发展成为区域贸易中心，而经济特区正在为中国和全球企业敞开大门。

At the core of this partnership is the people-to-people ties that make this relationship special. Over 25,000 Pakistani students are studying in China, contributing to a future of mutual learning and shared innovation. Pakistani and Chinese businesses, professionals, and entrepreneurs are strengthening ties in finance, health, technology, and culture.

这种伙伴关系的核心是使关系具有特殊意义的人文联系。目前，巴基斯坦有2.5万多名留学生在华学习，为两国互学互鉴、共享创新的未来做出了贡献。巴基斯坦和中国的企业、专业人士和企业家正在加强在金融、卫生、技术和文化方面的联系。

各位来宾,

On this National Day, I wish to relay a message of hope and confidence. Pakistan has recently faced economic challenges, at times compounded by security concerns, but we are now on the path to stabilization and revival.

Our foreign exchange reserves are improving, our currency has stabilized and inflation  declined significantly. Cross-sectoral reforms are being actively implemented, industries are growing, and Pakistan’s economic outlook is stable and ratings improving.

值此国庆佳节，我愿传递一份希望和信心。巴基斯坦最近面临着经济挑战，有时还伴随着安全问题，但我们现在正走在稳定和复兴的道路上。

我们的外汇储备正在增加，我们的货币已经稳定，通货膨胀明显下降。跨部门改革正在积极实施，工业正在发展，巴基斯坦经济前景稳定，评级正在提高。

As we celebrate this occasion, we look ahead to a future of economic growth and stability domestically and in our neighborhood. Pakistan’s journey will remain one of perseverance and ambition.

在我们庆祝这一时刻的同时，我们展望国内和周边地区经济增长和稳定的未来。巴基斯坦的征途仍将充满毅力和雄心。

We are committed to empowering our people, accelerating economic growth, and enhancing global engagement. We look forward to working even more closely with our friends and partners, near and far, in our joint efforts for peace, security, development, and innovation in a world order underpinned by principles of UN charter, inclusive multilateralism, a fairer globalization and justice for the people under foreign occupation.

As Ambassador of Pakistan to China, my team and I remain dedicated to further deepening of our strategic partnership with China, expanding ongoing practical cooperation, and building an even stronger Pakistan-China Community of Shared Future.

Tonight, we celebrate Pakistan, its people, its history, and its bright future. Let us reaffirm our joint commitment to uphold the principles of international law and redouble our efforts to work towards shaping a world where every nation, small or large, where all people, poor or rich, can pursue a life of dignity, happiness and peace. Thank you for your attention and thank you for your friendship.
